VERTICAL PLATE CLAMPS

All the plate clamps listed below can be opened and closed by the locking lever. The safety lock overrides the spring loaded cam, preventing the disengaging of the transported material.
They are all service friendly, with exchangeable parts and a repair service is available by our team at lifting gear direct.

CZ HEAVY DUTY PLATE CLAMP WITH SAFETY LOCK:
These clamps are primarily used for transporting sheet metal and steel plates in the vertical position, as well as lifting and rotating through 180 degrees.
They can also be used for transporting steel constructions and profiles. Though it is recommended to use a pair in conjunction with a spreader beam for larger and long loads.
92 SERIES STANDARD PLATE CLAMPS WITH SAFETY LOCK (WLL 500-3000kgs)
These plate clamps are most often used for transporting steel plates and sheet metal in the vertical position, as well as lifting and rotating through 180 degrees.
They can also be used for transporting steel constructions and profiles, though it is recommended that a pair of plate clamps are used along with a spreader beam for large sized steel and long materials which have a tendency to sag.
The 92-500 is equipped with a safety lock (positively spring loaded cam), but comes without locking lever.
CY HINGED VERTICAL PLATE CLAMP
The main benefit of using the CY hinged plate clamps is that longer plates can be lifted or handled, using 2 clamps on a two-legged chain sling, thus eliminating the need for a spreader beam.
The CY plate clamps with hinged hook rings can be used for the safe handling of plate at various angles. It can lift plate from the horizontal and put down in the vertical.
The hinged hook ring ensures the necessary gripping pressure in every position, but the load capacity is reduced as seen in the diagram showing the the load and forces capacities.
