ACH "adjustable" horizontal plate clamp
The ACH plate clamp provides great flexibility because of its large adjustable jaw opening.
The jaw is adjustable by using a simple ratchet mechanism.
The ACH clamps are used in pairs, and suited to the transportation of large plate bundles up to 250mm thick.

The THK range are the same basic design as the CH range but they have reversed teeth in the jaw, this acts as an extra safety feature especially for use with thin sheets which tend to sag or deflect.
The THK models are particularly suited to thin plate with a surface hardness of 300 brinell/32 rockwell C.

The THS horizontal plate clamps are designed to be used when loading plate horizontally into presses, guillotines, shears and other industrial machinery, or where CH clamps are not suitable.
The unique design of the THS allows them to be used individually when loading plate, however, when transporting plate horizontally the THS clamps should be used in pairs.
This clamp also has a spring loaded safety lock that ensures the clamp remains on the plate in the unloaded position prior to lifting.

RH / WH / WHL horizontal plate clamps ( WLL 1500-5000kgs)
This range of horizontal plate clamps are designed to be used in pairs, for the horizontal transporting of individual and bundled plate. Whilst the basic design remains the same there are 3 options available, these are:
Option 1, RH model, fitted with a steel roller for reduced marking of the plates.
Option 2, WH model, jaw has hardened steel teeth, for use where marking of plates is not an issue.
Option 3, WHL model, protective rubber lining on jaw and toe plate, totally eliminating the risk of marking.

CH / HH standard horizontal plate clamps. (WLL 1000-10000kgs)
The CH are designed to be used in pairs for the transportation of plate bundles as well as single plates with a minimum thickness of 5mm.
A pair of CH clamps used with a two-leg chain sling are suitable for small plates up to 1500mm in length.
When handling larger plates it is advisable to use 2 pairs along with a spreader beam.
These units are supplied with a smooth jaw as standard, but has the option of hardened steel teeth for special applications.
The HH model have all the features of CH clamps, but are manufactured in high strength steel giving them really low tare weights.
These clamps are service friendly, and repairs are available in our workshop.
