LOAD MOVING SKATES, MOVING LOADS THE PROFESSIONAL WAY.
Designed for the professional load mover, these systems have been developed
for ease of operation and maximum safety.
Here at lifting gear direct we can provide you with heavy duty skates
(as listed below) as well as a budget range and caterpillar range(info posted next week)
The Steerman load moving skates that we can supply have a steerable front section
as well as a pair of adjustable rear trolleys. These systems are available in a range of capacities
from 10-100 tonnes, and can be stripped down to component parts for easy transportation.

MAIN FEATURES AND BENEFITS:
•1. UNIQUE TURNABLE DESIGN;
A special cast nylon material has been developed for strength and light weight.
Large diameter thrust bearings allow these turntables to swivel effortlessly
while the special composite material ensures both anti-slip properties and greater impact resistance.

- 2. THREE POINT LOADING SYSTEM;
This three point system ensures a safe and stable configuration which eliminates the risk of one skate rolling out from below the load.
This design also ensures that loads are not carried on a reduced number of wheels when travelling.
- 3. SPECIAL COMPOSITE WHEEL EQUIPMENT;
This unique material is machined from solid, to produce the ideal wheel for use on modern industrial flooring.
Hard enough to give very low resistance yet designed to protect expensive coated surfaces, unlike conventional metal wheeled skates.
- 4. MADE FROM S.G IRON rather than of welded construction.
This malleable material is immensely strong, it is reproduced with total accuracy and is powder coated prior to assembly.
Conventional steel fabricated units have to be much larger to achieve the same capacities and therefore more cumbersome to use and transport.
