The function principal of hydraulic hollow cylinders:-
When used with threaded rods, hydraulic hollow cylinders can create very high forces,
which are helpful in many applications like pre-stressing anchors or removing press-fitted parts, removing axles etc. As well as for heavy duty pulling applications.
Hollow cylinders can also be used as the power source in puller sets and test rigs.
Due to the centre hole a threaded rod can be placed through the hollow cylinder so that extremely high pulling forces can be achieved,
by using longer threaded rods and by re-adjusting the nut, larger distances can be pulled even by use of short cylinder strokes.
MAIN FEATURES OF THE YCS MODEL:
- Models 21/150 come with carrying handle. Models 57/70 come with 2 lifting rings
- Female coupler half model CFY-1 included
- Inner & outer dirt wipers
- Hardened saddle (interchangeable)
- Single acting with spring return
- Large centre hole diameter
- Body and piston made from huge chromium-molybdemun steel and heat treated
- Hard chromium plated piston
- Metric mounting threads at cylinder body and inside piston
- Stop ring prevents over-travel of piston up to full operating pressure
- Maximum operating pressure 700 bar
