JIB CRANES

Jib cranes are often called pillar jib cranes, swing jib cranes or pillar jib cranes.
Jib cranes can be wall mounted, floor or foundation mounted, the later of which have higher load ratings than the wall mounted jib cranes. A cantilevered jib crane can have full or partial rotation.
Jib cranes have 3 main characteristics: always rotate, lift and lower loads and traverse the load across the beam.
Jib cranes are often used to cover a particular working area, making the lifting and moving of heavy loads, safer, easier and quicker.
Jib cranes are used in a wide variety applications, most often in factories, industrial premises, dock yards, ships, construction sites and even on military vehicles.
We can manufacture these jib cranes in our workshop to suit your particular needs, and our skilled staff can erect them for you. Our jib cranes can be wall, floor or foundation mounted, with capacity ratings ranging from 50kg to 5 tonnes, with a slewing range of 270 degrees, and they are manufactured to BS standards.
There is also the option to have isolator and festoon suspension brackets and wire if required.
As jib cranes are most often used along with electric hoists or manual hoists we can also supply you with new or often reconditioned ones if required.
