About the 5 Tonne Round Sling

Sitting roughly in the middle of our round sling range in terms of load capacity, this 5 tonne round sling is a subtler, gentler alternative to a web sling. It can be used in several hitch configurations and can have a custom length of your choosing.

Colour coded in red to industry standards this 5000kg round lifting sling is easy to spot. They can be used in a variety of hitches to suit your lifting task but you should pay attention to the altered safe working loads which need to be applied to certain hitch types. These are outlined in more detail, along with WLL information, in the table of technical data below. 

We can supply many other safe working loads in all our lifting slings to ensure you get the most suitable one for your lifting operation. For example, in our round sling range there are units with up to 12 tonnes of capacity at their disposal. You can also opt for 1 tonne round slings if you have might lighter duty lifting operations to take on.
