About the Ridgegear RGR3 Vertical Rescue System

The RGR3 is a vertical rescue system specifically designed for use from the point of fall and doesn't need the rescuer to go over the edge and so is therefore safer.

When the faller is lifted the rescuer has a 4:1 mechanical advantage to reduce the effort needed.

Upper pulley wheels lock whilst lowering, increasing friction to lower easily.

The rescue pole is to locate the fallers harness attachment point with the aid of the large gate karabiner.
