The primary purpose of an underbraced jib crane is to ensure that premises with low ceilings or other obstructions can still be equipped with cutting edge lifting gear.
Like our full underbraced range, this model will be able to safely handle heavy loads up to the rated capacity. 125kg may not sound like a lot, but for small workshops it should be plenty and will avoid the risks associated with manual handling.
The obvious issue with underbraced jib cranes is that part of the beam’s 3 metre length will be blocked by the joist that takes a lot of the weight. As such any beam attachment you add will not be capable of running along its full expanse.
Some customers may get more out of an overbraced crane, which Lifting Gear Direct can also build from scratch for you.
A phone call to LGD’s expert sales staff on 01384 76961 will let you learn more about our jib cranes, get a quote and place an order. Meanwhile our contact page provides a speedy digital way to get in touch.
