Electric Pallet Stackers ES15 Series Model Comparison

The two models in this series of electric pallet stackers are more or less the same with the only real difference coming from the battery and thus handling speeds.

The Lithium battery model (ES15-Li) boasts variable speeds, faster lifting and lowering speeds and auto slow lowering when under heavy load. The lifting height is slightly more on the lithium model to 3500mm rather than the maximum 3000mm for the standard battery model (ES15-B). Both can handle loads up to 1500kg. Benefits of the ES15-Li lithium Model

Having a modern Li-ion battery these pallet stacker trucks are more powerful and offer more load handling precision. The variable speeds applies to both lifting and lowering modes. During lowering soft buffering is applied to the automatic slow descent which kicks in when the forks and load reach approximately 10cm from the ground, this protects the cargo from sudden shocks.

The variable speed control has other benefits too! Energy saving due to speed adjustment according to the load and a longer service life thanks to the reduced mechanical impact, friction and wear.

Lithium batteries support rapid charging, roughly 2-4 hours; a standard battery could take up to 10 hours. You get many more cycles from a Li-ion battery (2000+ compared to 400) and double or more the life span (3-5 years compared to 1-2 years). The lower self discharge rate is an added bonus.

Electric Stacker Truck Features

The ES15 electric stacker truck series benefits from a multi-functional tiller handle which incorporates the following controls;

• lift and lower rocker switch
• forward and reverse driving levers
• emergency reverse switch
• upright drive and total speed
• horn
• fault code display
• battery power display and recharge alert
• Belly button – truck will stop if the top red button on operating handle touches your body.

The batteries are stored onboard along with the UK charging plug

There are three ways to manoeuvre these stacker trucks which have a small turning circle (1.5m) thanks to the 180 degree swivelling handle;

• Turtle speed – operator chooses speed mode with handle lowered to steer
• Upright Drive – easy manoeuvres when handle is in the vertical position in turtle speed
• Engineering mode – this releases the brake to move the truck manually (when forks are lowered).
