Returns and Refund Policy

We strive to ensure that all of the lifting equipment and lifting accessories that we stock here at Lifting Gear Direct are well manufactured, reliably handled, and are constructed with only the highest quality and safety in mind.

However, we understand that sometimes, through no fault of our own, there may be damages to some lifting equipment or perhaps your equipment is not quite right for the job. With this in mind, we have laid out our returns and refund policy below.

Returning and refunding lifting equipment

We have a 30-day refund policy in place from the day that your lifting equipment has been delivered. Please note, for a refund to be processed during this 30-day period- it will only be accepted if agreed by us and confirmed in writing, your lifting equipment must be:

1. Returned in its original packaging and as new condition
2. Used only to the point where it has been setup and tested; if we believe that you have used this equipment more than this, we will not process a refund
3. Not damaged; should your item be damaged, please refer to the section below

Please read our returns and refund policy before making any purchases

Please send us an email before you return your lifting equipment with a description of your equipment, the original packing slip and the invoice number. We are unable to process refunds on any bespoke or made to order parts, so please ensure that you are fully happy with your request before placing an order with us. You must cover the costs of return shipping, and Lifting Gear Direct aren’t responsible for any damage that the lifting equipment may suffer when in transit. Any return of goods by the Buyer shall be confirmed in writing after agreement with the Company and again may be subject to a 20% handling charge. Your statutory rights are in no way affected by the return of lifting equipment.

Returning and refunding damaged lifting equipment
If you have received lifting equipment and it is damaged, you must notify us by email within 48 hours of receiving your goods so that we can begin the returns and refunds process. Failing to notify us within this period will render you unable to receive a refund from us. Once we have received your lifting equipment and inspected damages, we will begin the refund process.

You are protected by a [time] warranty on your lifting equipment, should any damages that your equipment suffers be down to a fault in the manufacturing process. We are unable to extend this refund to damages that you may have caused.
