About Black Rope Ladders for Stage Access

Made from strong polyester rope and aluminium rungs these lightweight rope ladders provide a means of quick access to lighting and sound trusses and other stage paraphernalia. You should note that they are not PPE and must be used with a safety back up fall arrest system.

Only one person at a time should be on the ladder which has an permissible work load limit of 140kg. The anchoring point to which you want to attach the ladder must have a minimum static strength of 12kN.

The rope sides are made from 5mm diameter black polyester rope, interspersed with aluminium rungs. The ladders are finished with strong thimbles eyes to create robust connection points and also enables multiple ladders to be connected together if longer lengths are required.

Two screw gate karabiners (included) are all that is needed to attach the ladder to a suitable anchor point, or another ladder!

Stage Ladder Sizes

The ladders come in two sizes; narrow and wide. The narrow rung ladder has 206mm long rungs with the useable stepping distance between the side ropes of 140mm. The wide ladder has rung lengths of 306mm but 240mm useable stepping space. Both have a 310mm spacing between the rungs.
