About Chainmaster D8+ Ultra Stage Hoists

In the events and entertainment industry Chainmaster hoists are one of the leading brands, made in Germany. The D8+ Ultra series incorporates the double brake system required to be able to hold loads above people. D8+ Ultra Entertainment Hoist Specifics

The lightweight aluminium body has a jet black finish and a bag type chain container. The black chain is DAT grade according to EN818-7. All hoists have IP55 protection with a number of models now having IP66 protection for outdoor use, see the specs for all the details.

Chainmaster D8+ ultra hoists have a fixed speed of either 4 or 8 metres per minute, model depending. They can be used in the standard position or as a climbing hoist, thus perfect for a wide range of lifting tasks on set.

Each hoist incorporates two DC brakes and a patented Hoffmann safety clutch set up and have a safety factor of 8:1. Available capacity options are 250kg, 320kg, 500kg, 1000kg, 1250kg & 2000kg.

The Difference between the DC and LV models comes down to the inner workings rather than the main body. DC, or direct control hoists have fewer components in them and are very robust with high reliability and a long service life expectancy. DC hoists are lighter in weight than the LV models.

LV, or low voltage models incorporate contactor control to increase and guarantee safety. An extended range of functions is possible with these LV hoists.
