About Industrial Drum Stands – BS Series

These drum stands are simplistic in design but offer an easy way to tilt drums; they are typically used to move steel drums from a vertical position to a horizontal resting position and visa versa.

Each model varies slightly in its dimensions, thus the height of the drum resting horizontally will differ, as will its self weight and design, see the specifications for full details.

The BS Industrial Drum Stand models

BS, BS1 and BS2 models have a heavy duty powder coating and have 300kg capacities, whilst the BS4 comes in plain galvanised steel and has a 200kg capacity.

The basic design is the BS model which has no wheels, therefore it can't be used for transporting drums.

The BS1 model incorporates 2 fixed wheels and 2 swivel castors for easier steering.

The BS2 model also has the wheels and castors but also benefits from 4 drum rollers on the top to enable drums to be rolled on easier.

The BS4 model goes a step further and has 2 detachable long handles with rubber grips for even easier drum moving. The handles store under the drum within the frame when not required. There are no rollers on this model, just the 2 wheels and 2 castors.
