Endless ratchet straps consist of a single webbing strap with a ratchet handle at one end and a free end. Available in 25mm, 35mm, 50mm & 75mm widths and numerous lengths.
Endless ratchet straps differ from standard ratchets in that there is just one piece of webbing and no anchor hooks. (standard straps have 2 web straps each with an anchor hook and one with the handle). Endless straps can be more time consuming to release than standard straps but are a great way to secure loads together.
Endless straps are designed to wrap around and bind items together, for example a bundle of steel tubes, or securing boxes to a pallet.
These lashings are simple to use but first you need to know what length you need, so assess the loads you wish to secure together and purchase a strap that will easily wrap around them.
Each width / size is available in a range of lengths with the maximum being 30 metres for the 50mm width. Find out the specifics for each in the specifications above.
Don't forget to factor in the lashing capacity to ensure you opt for the right width which can handle the daN (force & tension) lashing capacity limits.
Depending on the load cargo protection may be a good move to protect the load from pressure caused by the strap. Cargo corner protectors are great for boxed items or you could add wear sleeves to specific areas on the webbing strap.
We have a good range of the standard type of ratchet lashings in the same widths as these endless varieties. These come with typical claw hook fittings.
When it comes to other types of load restraints you will find lever and ratchet load binders with chain and hooks available at Lifting Gear Direct; alternatively you could consider cam buckle straps or tie down rope.
