About Onyx Black Theatre Ratchet Straps

Manufactured from 100% polyester for high strength and with quality ratchet handles all completely in black.

Black is the optimum colour choice in the entertainment sector to provide minimal visibility. Discreet rigging is imperative so as not to distract from performances.

These slings are suitable for use in temperature ranges from =40 to +100 degrees C.

All conform to BS EN 12195-2.

Types and Sizes of Stage Ratchets Available

The standard 2 piece ratchet strap has 2 straps one with the handle and a claw fitting and the 2^nd strap having a claw hook and open end for threading into the handle. Available in 50mm width straps with maximum lashing capacities of 2500 daN (1 decanewton= approx 1 kg load). The minimum breaking force (MBF) of these straps is 5000daN. 4, 6, 8 and 10 metre lengths are the standard options to choose from.

Next we have the 25mm endless ratchet strap which is a 1 piece lashing assembly so no extra pieces to go missing. These smaller straps have a maximum lashing capacity of 400 daN and MBF of 500 daN. 4, 6, 8 & 10 metre lengths are available.

The larger 50mm endless ratchet strap is also a one piece kit but the wider strap means a larger lashing capacity up to 2500 daN and MBL of 5000 daN.
