This page is for the spark resistant / ATEX rated version of the standard Tiger PROLH lever hoist. Available in capacities up to 20 tonne.
Specifications, dimensions and operation statistics are the same as for the standard ProLH model but has some of its components switched out for spark resistant components.
Copper plated components are used for the suspension and load hooks, chain guides, grip rings, end anchorage and the hand wheel. The handle has a phthalate free rubber cover for excellent grip.
These components are spark resistant and will not produce any hazardous sparks during correct use. This means they can be used in hazardous areas where a tiny spark could create an ignition for potentially explosive materials and combust with awful consequences.
These hoists are rated to be used in ATEX zone II with hazardous gasses and dust. Certification is available.
Optional extras include a chain container, overload protection device and stainless load chain (1 tonne de-ration applies to stainless chain).
