About the Ergonomic 50mm Ratchet Strap

These ratchet straps are perfect for high tension lashing applications and meet EN 12195-2 standards.

Using high density polyester webbing with a 50mm width these straps are not only strong but wide enough to protect and secure larger loads.

Boasting a 5000kg breaking force strength and a 2500 daN lashing capacity your loads will be safe and secure when used correctly.

Supplied with two lengths of webbing, one short and one long; each having a claw hook at one end to facilitate easy anchoring to your vehicle anchor points. The longer length incorporates the ratchet handle which is the key factor in these particular lashings.

The Ergonomic Ratchet Handle

The ergonomic design is not only wider and longer, the handling part incorporates a rubber grip for optimum grip and comfort.

A key feature of these ergonomic handles is the way they are used. Tensioning is achieved by pulling the handle in a downwards motion which is the opposite of standard ratchet handles which use an upwards motion.

Together, the longer handle and downward pull means less force is required to get optimum tension, thus reducing physical strain.
