In spite of its modest load capacity, the CPV/F 2-8 from Yale still manages to afford operators a good degree of control over how it performs. For standard lifting purposes it offers a speed of 8 metres per minute, while more precision can be achieved with the fine control mode, moving at 2 metres per minute.
Since this is the integrated trolley example of the CPV/F 2-8, you also need to consider the kind of trolley that is featured. A powered trolley gives you the added convenience of having a built-in motor move the assembly along the beam for you, while the push trolley is more affordable yet requires a degree of manual manoeuvring.
