Whether you are looking for a replacement winch cable or need a new rope and winch, Lifting Gear Direct can help. The 11mm diameter will probably be too large for many winches, however they work very well with our wire rope cable pullers (Tirfor type). They fit perfectly with the Deltafor cable puller as well as the 1600kg economy range model; It can also be used with some Tirfor machines.
The 7x19 rope construction provides the ideal combination of strength and flexibility required for winch cable. Its also been galvanized so has good corrosion resistance. The wire core provides good crush resistance which is necessary when winding in multiple layers on a drum.
Two tensile strengths are available with the 1690 supplied as standard; 1770 can also be supplied on request if you need a slightly softer rope.
Although we can supply this cable in most lengths, our standard sizes available online are 10, 15, 20, 25 & 30 metres. Get in touch is you need a custom length.
When it comes to the end fittings we terminate one end with a fuse and taper – perfect for fitting to your winch drum. At the anchoring end we terminate it with a steel thimble eye which provides structure and cable protection. These are the standard options, now you can choose additional fittings if required, our permanent hook fitting has a safety latch for optimum load security and is a popular choice. The shackle option provides a non-permanent connector which is easy to fit to the eye and remove as needed.

Our smallest winch rope is the 6mm diameter and our largest is 13mm. Up to 8mm typically best suit the smaller manual or electric winches whilst the larger cables best suit cable pulling Tirfor machines. Lifting Gear Direct can supply them all at great prices.
