Using the Imer AP 120 Scaffold Winch

This winch is usually placed on the ground with the special swivelling bracket positioned on a scaffold pole where the lifting hook on the wire rope will be placed. (See images). The winch is ideal for lifting materials to where they are needed up to 40 metres high. Up to 75 metres can be reached if the winch body is mounted in the higher position (e.g. top of scaffold)

The swivelling bracket is supplied as standard and is easy to attach to a scaffold pole and there are a number of adapters available for the different types of scaffolding. During operation it may only be necessary to move the swivel bracket to the position required. The fixing system enables it to be locked to the scaffolding with a padlock (not supplied).

Key features include a single phase 230v/50Hz motor which has a self braking motor with a magnetic device. Operation is via the direct control pendant which has a 5 metre cable, 3 simple push button controls and is IP65 rated. This scaffold hoist also has a stop system with limit switch safety device and load limiter functions to prevent the load from being lifted too far and causing damage.

Automatic cable tensioning occurs thanks to the pre-tensioned roller.

The winch comes in a semi-enclosed frame to help with protection as well as making it easier to handle with its built in handle recesses.

Many of the hoist accessories used on scaffold hoists can be utilized on this winch, from brick baskets to multi hook scaffold frame lifting hook system, buckets and bucket carriers.
