Scaffold Hoists / Gantry Hoists

Here at Lifting Gear Direct we can supply you with a wide range of scaffold hoists and gantry hoists available with different safe working load limits, as well as heights and speeds of lift. We are also able to supply various accessories to work with your chosen scaffold hoist, from wheelbarrow chains to mortar buckets.

Scaffold hoists are attached to a scaffold pole, and use a small swing jib arm which will cantilever out away from the scaffolding so that the scaffold hoist can lift the load, when the load reaches the desired height the swing jib arm is rotated so that the load can be lowered onto the working platform where needed.

We also supply Gantry Hoists, which are free standing hoists that are not connected to any scaffolding, but use a scaffold hoist to raise and lower the load. The gantry hoist will cantilever over the edge of the working area safely because of the counter weights in ballast boxes.

Scaffold Hoists provide a safe and cost efficient means when lifting and lowering loads up scaffolding towers.
