Its easy to customise these 3 leg chain slings at Lifting Gear Direct. Choose your chain size according to the WLL you need and the maximum length you require. If you are likely to need shorter chain on occasion then rather than buy a separate sling simply add shortening hooks to your order. These shortening eye grab hooks are permanently fitted in the top master link where chain can be hooked back into to shorten them. Always ensure each leg is the same!
Your choice of loading hooks include Clevis type sling hook complete with a safety latch which is sprung for a secure fit. If you need a bigger throat opening then opt for the Clevis type self locking hook where the hook opens right out from the latch. There is also a swivel self locking hook which acts in the same way for a larger opening, however rather than the Clevis type fitting it has a swivel eye and will be permanently fixed onto the chain. A clevis type C hook is also an option for tasks that don't require a safety latch.
